---Gates of Time--- "What!?" Setsuna looked up from her records, startled as a tremendous force of temporal magic burst through reality and threw her across the room. Landing with a dull thump of flesh and cloth, Setsuna shivered at the power of the displacement, something was happening, something beyond her grasp of ability to alter and whatever it was, it was going to be big. Her black gloved hand hauled her bruised body from the black crevice separating the Timegate from the rest of her chambers and her carmine eyes watched as lightning shot from the watery pool of magic and vaporized the plush pillows and bed of her home. She wisely hid behind the granite divider and waited for the phenomena to play itself out. If she was correct, someone was attempting a chronoleap, and a fantastic amount of damage was going to be done if she couldn't isolate and destroy the anomaly. The garnet orb atop her key flashed in a racing heartbeat in resonance with the temporal waves invading their reality. A stray bolt of power blasted away a section of wall next to her and Setsuna dived for cover behind the Timegate, apparently all the energy was being projected in front of the gate where she normally viewed, if she was behind the opening she would be relatively safe. [Whoever's doing this knows the correct procedure...it could conceivably be a future version of myself...but why?] A cosmic tearing rent the world to shreds in the next instant and Setsuna felt her world explode in a blaze of magic and pain. Reality itself was being broken, the flow of time was halted and she knew that in the end only she or another senshi of Pluto would be able to achieve such an impossible feat. Crumpling to the floor, Setsuna was unconscious as a slim leg and arm broke free from the gelatin of the Timegate and stepped out into reality, the world folding and shifting to accommodate the new arrival. ---Juuban--- Usagi, Makoto, Minako, and Ami made their way up the stairs leading to the Hikawa shrine. The blonde was depressed since her last breakup with Mamoru. It had become somewhat of a routine for them, go to school, go home, go to Rei's for a study session. Since their enrollment into Juuban High School the group had decided to really buckle down and try to do well since most of them only got in by a mere margin. Of course they didn't really study every day, it was more like fight and yell, especially Usagi and Rei. Today was no different. "Give me back my manga, meatball head!" Rei lunged for the comic but Usagi twirled away and stuck her tongue out at the black-haired senshi of Mars. "When I get you I'll give you such a pinch you won't sit down for weeks!" "But Rei I just want to read the new installment!" The blonde was ducking behind the couch as Rei resorted to throwing muffins. As another chocolate pastry whizzed past her head, Usagi made a dash for the outside, laughing as the senshi of Mars chased after her. "You can't catch me!" Ami and Makoto sweatdropped, turning quickly to each other and sighing in resignation. "What do you think's eating Rei?" Minako sat down and reached for a cracker. "Hmm...?" Ami looked up from the Mercury Computer, thoroughly engrossed in her formulae. "She's been acting kinda weird since yesterday when that notice was posted about Ranma's classes." "Yes, I wonder why it was cancelled so suddenly, not even two days worth of class." And Ami had so wanted to get to know Ranma Saotome more...intimately. "Has anyone seen him lately?" Minako burst into the conversation, pushing her friends apart and pouncing on the plate of cookies in front of Ami. "Not that I know of!" She exclaimed around morsels of chocolate. "He just cancelled the classes for no reason, I guess, kinda a shame." Both Minako and Makoto turned their heads up to the blue sky outside and sighed deeply, Ranma was such a good catch - if only they were given more time! "So any new news on the Darkspace General who stole a kiss from brainiac?" "I resent that!" Ami turned away in a huff. "And no, I haven't found anything that could link Divus to Magnetite." "Well, if he was out husband, why don't we just go and find this Divus?" Makoto was still in fantasy land regarding her sempai, two cans of whipped cream and feathers. Minako looked away from her best friend's drooling visage and resumed her discussion with Ami. "It's not that simple. Assuming Divus isn't Magnetite, how would we go about finding him? I can't track him with the Mercury computer!" "Well, what about the dreams? Could we use a part of that?" "Maybe..." Ami's attention was torn from the blonde as her computer let out a harsh warning siren. Usagi stopped dead in her tracks and looked at her friends gathered around the glowing device, her short stop so sudden that Rei came barreling into her a second later. "What is it?" "What's wrong?" "What's that noise?" "Ow!" "OH MY GOD!" ---Nerima--- "Kasumi, Nabiki, I've missed you so much these past years. My life never felt complete without you...my daughters." Kimiko looked up and felt Honturi's firm hands on her shoulders, the warmth radiating off his body reassuring her that this was the correct thing to do. Her deep green bow rustled in the breeze as her senshi skirt flew up, exposing a generous amount of leg and a peek at the white cotton panties she wore underneath. Kasumi stared at the ghost smiling sweetly in front of her. Nabiki stared as her auntie Yamada stepped out of her energy sack and appeared as her long dead mother. Even Ranma's transformation wasn't half as disconcerting as this! "Kasumi, Nabiki, this is the secret I have kept all this time. This is the reason I would not fulfill the Tendo/Saotome nuptials, I am your father." Honturi watched the war on both their faces, neither willing to admit to their conscious minds that what they saw was real. "I realize that this is going to take a long time to understand, but I am your biological father." Kimiko reached her hand back and pivoted to caress his face. "Take it slow, darling, I think they're both in shock." "...Mother?" "...Mommy?" Both Tendo sisters began to cry, pure tears of anguish and joy pouring from the fonts of their sight; unintelligible mews of disbelief and happiness. Kimiko slinked up to her two daughters, herself looking barely five years older than them, and embraced them. Like a dam, the long repressed emotional buildup of their mother's death came flooding to the surface, spilling out into the warmth of her arms as they let themselves go back to the primal place of first memory...the memory of being held in their mother's arms. Honturi stood off to the side, realizing that since both of his daughters had a father figure already instilled in their minds, he would take some getting used to, especially the revelation of his avatar form. Still, he could wait. He had all the time in the world. They stayed like that for what seemed hours, each tear soaked in Kimiko's blouse another fond memory of their mother as they knew her. Finally the deluge began to ebb and she pulled away a bit to look at how beautiful her daughters had become. Kasumi resembled her father closely with a clearly defined cheekbones and a handsome curvature to her face. Nabiki looked more like herself, her gorgeous cut features a mirror of what she once was during the Silver Millennium. Shakily she took their faces in her hands. "I love you both so much...you both carry the seed of greatness within." "What happened, Mother?" "Why did you fake your death and hide from us?" Neither sister paid much attention to Honturi as he tensed in the corner, his enhanced senses feeling the abrupt change in reality as Pluto crumpled to the floor by the Timegate. His eyes narrowed in concentration but nothing save a vague wave of distortion passed by his senses, apparently the change in the space-time continuum was not so great as to irreparably damage the fabric of reality. Kimiko smiled at the youthful innocence that remained in her children and hugged them again, this time tighter than before. "You two have to understand...your mother's gone cosmic." Honturi twitched. A power was almost upon them, the distortion must have changed some things beyond his sphere of influence because if those were who he thought they were, they sure had grown up fast! "INCOMING!!!" Honturi leapt to defend Kimiko and his daughters from the shards of broken glass as Sailor Moon and Mars burst through the sliding doors leading out into the yard and struck sentai poses. No sooner had the two landed than he saw the others approaching at high speed over the rooftops of Nerima, he had to act quickly to diffuse the situation... With two precise jabs to the neck, Kasumi and Nabiki crumpled to the floor and into his waiting arms. Moon looked horrified at his toothy grin as he hefted the girls. Mars looked like she was going to throw up. "How could you so callously murder two such beautiful girls? For this outrage and any other in your life - in the name of the Moon - I'll punish you!" Usagi struck a ridiculous pose. The others had already reached the scene before she finished. "That's him!" Ami pointed at the incandescent sword hanging at his hip and used her Shabon spray, effectively clouding the area in super cold mist. Kimiko powered up her attack and let loose with a Great Divide, an attack that split the earth underneath them and swallowed their legs up to the hip. Honturi ripped the Cosmic Xenosol from his belt and stabbed down into the soil unearthed from Kimiko's attack as the waves of power turned the hardened cages of rock into sparkling crystal. Satisfied that the senshi were incapacitated for the moment, Honturi sheathed his weapon and caught Sailor Earth as she landed lightly on her toes from her attack. Nabiki and Kasumi were laid like rag-dolls on the stairs. "Calm yourselves, Senshi. The two girls are unconscious, not dead as you think." Sure enough they could discern the subtle rise and fall of their chests. "I am not your enemy." "We know all about you Magnetite! You're the same Darkspace General that attacked us before!"
