Title: Love For All Time Part 8 Author: Jade Hunter A.N: I am pretty sure that this will be the last chapter before the Senshi meet up with their old Sensei. Also, the next chapter will be pretty long, so sorry about this chapter and the one before for being so short. Disclaimer: The Sailor Senshi, and the Nermia Crew don't belong to me. The concept of Ryuujin and his powers, the elements, and the enemy belong to me, however, please don't take them without my permission. "talking" **thoughts** _emphasis_ <> ////memories//// ############################################################################# ^four months later^ Ryuujin Noametsuchi, otherwise known as the 26-year-old, the young millionare who recently moved into a penthouse in the Juuban District, raced down the street in his brand new, black as night, Mercedes convertible. He smiled slightly in pleasure at being free of the 'Ranma' illusion, and looked into his mirror once more. His cropped hair blew to and fro in the wind, and he let out a whoop of joy. He wore a casual, yet obviously expensive outfit, keeping up the act of being a rich kid. His black jeans were noticeably tailored, and fit him to a T. He wore a collored, white, polo shirt, and matching black sports jacket over it. His Elemental Stone was now set in a gold plate, and hung from a golden chain around his neck. He grinned for the heck of it, and reached up with one hand to grasp the stone. Within hours of leaving Nermia, he had created a false alias, one that left absolutly no paper trails whatsoever as it had all been done by magic. He was now a Japanese man who had been born in Juuban, but had moved to America with his parents when he was young. He had lived in America, watching and learning as his father successfully climed corperate ladder after corperate ladder. He was, at his father's insistance, homeschooled, and had a degree in buisness. By the time his 18th birthday had come around, his father was the proud owner of dozens of flourishing companies that made them one of the most richest people in the world. His parents died when he was 20, in a cruise that took them to Hawaii and back, celebrating their 23rd aniversary. A freak storm struck, and all of the passengers drowned, his folks included. For the next 6 years, he traveled all around the world, learning all sorts of languages such as German, French, Chinese (for old times sake), and Spanish. A month ago, he moved to his 'homeland', to settle down and delve into the buisness his father had left him. He now owned, by inheritance, a long and prosperous string of companies, and several estates, both placed all over the world. He did his buisness at home, by computer, in order to maintain some peace of mind. Ryuujin stopped at a red light, and looked around. Juuban was pretty much a nice and peacful place, not counting the monster attacks. Why the past evils chose Japan as their center point was unfathomable, even by him, but he knew why Shadow was here. It was the same reason he himself was here. The Sailor Senshi. The Sailor Senshi........who were all in civilian form and walking across the street in front of him! ***** The Inner and Outer Senshi were walking in a group to Rei's temple. A fire reading was in good order, for not even Setsuna had a clue who the new enemy was and why they were so powerful that even the four Outers, the most powerful of the two groups, could not defeat them. Minako, Makoto, Ami, and Usagi were all talking about unimportant things, but their conversation was laced with worry. The Outers had not the patience to talk over small things when such a dangerous enemy was looming over the horizon, and so walked on with a fast pace, brows furrowed. The crossed the street when the light turned green, each deep in their own thoughts. Setsuna suddenly looked up, in danger of getting whiplash as she jerked her head violently. She felt something...........familiar. Something comforting. Something loving. She hadn't felt this way since....... ........Ryuu-chan was alive. Could it be? After all these years, Could it be? She looked to her right, and immediatly stopped breathing, even as her feet walked on with the others. Her scarlet eyes met those familiar blue-grey, still twinkling with mischief so cleverly hidden underneath a stern facade. Her eyes widened, and took in the face attatched to the eyes, and then, she was sure. It _was_ Ryuu-chan, her Ryuu-chan, com back, and smiling gently at her now as he had done ten centuries ago. Her Ryuu-chan, who was......... ............riding comfortably in an expensive car and wearing tailored clothes? Her eyes demanded and answer, even as she stepped up on the sidewalk and trailed behind the others. During the single moment she lingered back, he did something that made her want to cry, cry like she had done when he wasn't there. He talked to her with telepathy, through the bond they shared. <> Suna-chan. No one _ever_ called her that, back then, or right now, except him. It was part of their secret, just like their telepathy, just like the Elements that he carried within the stone he was wearing as a pendant. And as they both turned their heads away, and she moved to catch up with the others, she sent back her answer. <> she sent back, beginning to feel a bit light-headed. Amusement washed over her, not her own, but that of her love, <> Embarrassed, she did as he said and took in deep breaths, and hearing his silent chuckles, she sent at him, <> Such small talk, with no hint of their affection whatsoever except for the nicknames and the tone of voice, and yet it filled both their hearts with incomparable joy, filling them down to their souls. ############################################################################# To be continued in Part 9 ~~~~~Jade Hunter~~~~~
